About us

Onitsha Ado Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is founded on the grounds that it takes every hand to build a community. We strongly believe that education is a vital elements in the growth of human beings. Supporting individuals who otherwise may not be able to achieve great heights is a noble cause that merits emulation. This Foundation is constantly evolving and growing and will continue to encourage the education of Onitsha people. There are three aspects of the foundation's funding including Nigerian government universities, Nigerian private universities, and foreign universities.

 

This Foundation supports qualified indigenes of Onitsha who have gained admission to tartiary institutions in Nigeria to study subjects in the sciences, healthcare, information technology, and legal professions. The priority is applicants from government universities, followed by applicants from private universities in Nigeria. 

 

In addition, the foundation provides scholarship to exceptional secondary school students who may not otherwise be able to obtain a secondary school education due to financial limitations.
