Onitsha Ado Scholarship Foundation was founded on November 19, 2025 by Professor Uchenna Akpom. The original directors of the foundation include Mr. Emeka Alexander Okocha, Prof. Chris Ibegbu and Dr. Rachel Akpom. The foundation has a main objective of encouraging qualified student who are of Onitsha origin to pursue careers in the sciences and law. It is the belief of the founder that the whole Onitsha community can benefit from professionals who are committed to excellence and guided to achieve excellence it their fields of endeavor.
MISSION STATEMENT
Onitsha Ado Scholarship Foundation is committed to supporting qualified Onitsha Indigenes in pursuit of careers in the sciences with special emphasis on healthcare, technology, and law.
Through education, we encourage community service and develop the whole human being and community.
